Intervention sector
Principally all the transplanted coronary patients and in waiting-list of transplant of Andalusia, but especially those of Seville, Huelva, Malaga, Jaen, Ceuta and Melilla, as well as to his relatives. Since all it is provinces depend on the Unit of Transplant of the Virgin Hospital of the Dew of Seville, city where from the direct or personal interventions are realized.
Also, the campaign to raise public awareness campaigns, they take the whole population as a recipient. The Association works in coordination with the Sectorial Coordinating committee of Transplants of the University Hospital Virgin of the Dew of Seville, in numerous actions of information and sensitization of the population about the need for the promotion of the donation of organs.
General targets
- To answer to the problems of the transplanted ones and his relatives.
- To inform and to spread everything what is related to the transplants.
- To answer to the proper bio-psychosocial problems of the transplanted patients of heart and his relatives.
- To promote the donation of organs, textiles and blood.
- To support physics and morally to patients in waiting-list and his relatives.
- To collaborate with other entities or Associations to obtain the ends of the Association.
Specific targets
- To avoid the worsening of the cardiovascular disease eliminating or reducing the incidence of his factors of psychological risks, as well as of the physical and social way.
- To support physics and morally to patients in waiting-list and his relatives, as well as to realize the psychological pursuit of all the transplanted ones and his families.
- To receive in our reception apartment all the relatives of transplanted that need it, especially to those which domicile is located out of cardinal Seville.
- To improve the quality of life of the patient promoting the personal autonomy and social integration of the patients, questions both that remain compromised in major or minor measurement when the health gets lost.
- To face and to qualify the patient and family on the problems that arises on the occasion of the loss of health promoting the mobilization of the proper and external resources for the confrontation.
- Making of a census of the transplanted patients of heart.
- Making of an annual memory of the activity, to announce the needs of the transplanted patients of heart and familiar and to help to develop new programs for the progress of the quality of life of the group.
- Coordination with public sanitary centers in order to pay an integral attention to the group that occupies us.
Collaboration
The Association advocates the integration and the coordination with other Associations and Federations of the sector, in order to favor the exchange of experiences and of information between all the patients and the transplanted ones of heart in the autonomic and state ambience. And so, ATCA is part at present of:
- Andalusian federation of Patients' Associations of the Heart, FAECO.
- Provincial federation of Associations of Cardiac Patients of Seville, FECARSE.
