News about the Year 2007

The Bethlehem, initiative of four Associations of Transplanted of Seville, Kidney, Liver, Fibrosis Quística and Heart, and of the Coordinating committee of Transplanted of Seville. It arises with three fundamental premises:

1. To report that the Solidarity saves many lives in Seville
2. To transmit the message: "A transplant is another birth"
3. To enjoy the culture belenística of the city

The Bethlehem settles in a privileged enclave, the Convent of Closing ceremony of Santa Rosalía, in the helmet ancient of Seville. The access is free. All the persons who take care of the Bethlehem and all report about of the donations and the Donor's card are transplanted of Kidney, Liver, Fibrosis Quística and Heart. With the edition and diffusion of an explanatory leaflet, a cartel announcer and a wide participation in press, radio and television, the transplanted persons explain the motive and the targets of this initiative.

On January 5, the children brought his letters directed to Magi, with all the illusion that this day deserves, and delivered them to us; and this way, in representation of your Majesties, four associations of transplanted received them, and delivered all the children who visited the Bethlehem in company of his parents, a gift just before Magi.

In his edition 2007, the Bethlehem remained opened to the public from December 9 until January 5, 2008. The visits to the Bethlehem promoted this year a whole of 80.000 persons.

In this date, December 1, 2007, they met of a part, DON JOAQUÍN SILVERIO OF THE GIRL RAMÍREZ, taking control like Older brother, in name and representation of the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus de las Penas and Maria Santísima de la Estrella, with canonical head office in their own Chapel, of situated street San Jacinto 41 of the city of Seville; and of another part, DON MANUEL RODRÍGUEZ LUQUE, intervening in name and representation, like President of the Association of Transplanted of Heart of Andalusia "City Seville", with domicile in Seville, keeps silent about Castle Alcala of Guadaira 29, 3rd B, to sign the collaboration protocol between both.

On the same day, after the signature of the agreement, there was celebrated a meal of coexistence at which partners were present transplanted and familiar; the Directorate of the Brotherhood of the Star; representation of the services of the Unit of Infirmary of the UTS, to which there was delivered a badge of gratitude and recognition to his work; and Dr. Pérez Bernal, Dr. Lage, Dr. Martínez and Dr. Antonio Ordóñez Fernández, surgeon chief of transplants of the Hospital University student "Virgin of the Dew", to whom there was delivered the first ensign of gold of our Association. Likewise, a gratitude badge was delivered to the Journalist Oscar Gómez by the promotion of the donation of organs.

The Brotherhood donated to the Association two wonderful pictures of his holders, who preside at our head office.

Annually, in the Chapel of "Our Father Jesus de las Penas" and "Maria Santísima de la Estrella", our Bosses, the Association of Transplanted it celebrates an Eucharist for all his associates, in thanksgiving and memory for do not present already. The Brotherhood of the Star will try the organization of the same one, agreeing on the dates, and taking part organically with the same one.

In conclusion of the Eucharist, distinctions will be able to be granted, and exhibit with the decorum that needs the place, words of thanksgiving and memory before the Bosses, on the part of the representatives of one and another entity.

Four associations of Seville dedicated to the Transplants (ALCER, HEPATIC, FIBROSIS QUÍSTICA AND TRANSPLANTED OF HEART) we support meetings to analyze and to study the common problems that we have and they affect the partners. All the shortcomings and lacks are presented in monthly meetings to the submanager of the University Hospital Virgin Of the district of the Macarena D. Joaquín Torres.
